Library Rules

• Users are obligated to wear Student / Staff / External Membership Card in the UNIMEL Library.
• Do not bring in bag, package, food, drink, and umbrella into the library. Please keep them in the provided locker.
• Users are required to dress neat and tidy in the library according to UNIMEL Student’s Dressing and Grooming Rules.
• All items that are taken out of the library must be shown to the staff on duty at the Circulation and Information Service Counter.
• Seats cannot be reserved. Books and files that have long been left on the desk can be moved by the library staff to enable other users to utilize that place.
• No chatting or making noise and disturbing peacefulness in the library. Users who do so can be instructed to leave the library.
• Users must return the items that have been used to the special rack or trolley provided. Do not leave the items scattered on the desk.
• Users who make the copies of the library materials are solely responsible for the matters contrary to and against the COPYRIGHT ACT 1987.
• Users who defer, withdraw, quit or graduate from their studies must return the borrowed materials.
• The UNIMEL library reserves the right to add and amend the libray rules from time to time.
